The EK-Quantum Surface S radiator is a compact, high-performance liquid-cooling radiator with a thickness of 30 mm, engineered for space-constrained PC cases. Constructed from brass, copper and stainless steel with a white finish and reinforced extruded aluminum end caps, it features 16 copper tubes (2 mm wide) and high-grade non-louvered copper fins at 20 FPI for balanced thermal transfer and low air resistance. How to use

Mount the radiator in a compatible location within your case that supports a 30 mm thick radiator and standard 120 mm fans. Use the supplied M4x30 mm screws to attach 25 mm thick 120 mm fans to the radiator; use the M4x5 mm screws to secure the radiator to the case. Connect the radiator into your custom water loop using appropriate fittings and tubing; the internal low-restriction core is designed to work with typical single-pump setups such as D5 or DDC. Avoid using a push/pull fan configuration expecting proportional performance gains; instead consider adding additional radiators if more cooling capacity is required.

Recommendations

Use sealed-edge or similarly rigid 120 mm fans for optimal airflow; when performing modifications or using non-standard screw lengths, prefer the supplied screws to avoid damage and, if longer screws are necessary, note that they will contact the fins rather than critical structural components.
