ACT FA2028 Splice Protection Sleeve, 45 mm

The ACT FA2028 is a splice protection sleeve for fibre optic splices, supplied as a single 45 mm shrink protector.

• Brand: ACT
• Model/MPN: FA2028
• Type: splice protection (shrink protector)
• Length: 45 mm

Used to protect and reinforce fused fibre splices, the sleeve shrinks around the splice point to shield it from mechanical stress and environmental exposure. Install it over the completed splice and apply heat so it contracts tightly around the fibres and splice protector.
