How to use

Open the integrated carabiner and attach the speaker to a backpack, belt loop or other secure point. Power on the speaker and enable Bluetooth on your device, then select “JBL Clip 5” from the list of available devices to pair. Use the on-device controls to play, pause, adjust volume, and activate Playtime Boost when additional loudness and extended battery life are needed. To create stereo sound, pair two Clip 5 units or connect multiple Auracast-enabled JBL speakers according to their pairing instructions.

Recommendations

For prolonged outdoor use, ensure the speaker is fully charged before departure. Use Playtime Boost sparingly when you need louder, crisper sound and extra runtime. Rinse and dry the exterior after exposure to salt water and avoid prolonged submersion beyond IP67 limits.
