How to use

Mount the patch panel in a 19" rack occupying 1U of space. Terminate each Ethernet cable onto the 110 IDC terminal blocks using an appropriate 110 or Krone type punch-down tool; TRENDnet's TC-PDT punch down tool is compatible and sold separately. Use the color-coded labels to follow either T568A or T568B wiring schemes for consistent terminations. Close the integrated cable management cover plate to separate and secure cables and reduce clutter.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use with shielded Cat6A cabling and maintain proper grounding of the shielded system. Verify wiring scheme consistency across the network and use a certified punch-down tool for reliable terminations. Keep operating environment within the specified temperature range.
