How to use

Install the TC-P48C5E into a standard 19" rack or cabinet. Terminate Cat5e cables to the rear IDC punch-down blocks according to the T568A or T568B wiring standard, using an appropriate punch-down tool (TRENDnet TC-PDT recommended). Route patch cords to the front RJ-45 ports to connect switches, patch panels or other network devices.

Recommendations

Use Cat5e UTP cables certified to the same frequency rating and follow proper cable management practices. For consistent results in high-density installations, use the TRENDnet TC-PDT punch-down tool and test each link after termination with a cable tester supporting Cat5e/350 MHz performance.
