How to use

Secure the correct grit sanding paper to the plate using the clamping system or hook-and-loop attachment, making sure the paper is centred and taut. Select an appropriate orbital speed using the Vario control for the material and task; use TurboBoost only when higher removal is needed. Start the sander with light pressure and guide it evenly across the surface in overlapping passes to achieve a uniform finish. Keep the sander moving to avoid creating dips or grooves. For best dust control, fit the dust cartridge with filter or connect an external vacuum cleaner to the extraction port.

Recommendations

Use progressively finer grits for a professional finish, beginning with a coarser grit to remove material and ending with a fine grit for smoothing. Wear appropriate protective equipment, including eye protection, hearing protection and a dust mask when sanding without a connected extractor.
