The Noctua NF-A12x25r PWM is a 120 mm round-frame cooling fan based on Noctua’s award-winning NF-A12x25 design. It delivers class-leading quiet cooling performance with a maximum speed of 2000 RPM and an airflow of 102.1 m³/h. The round frame allows installation in space-restricted environments (e.g. between dual-tower low-height coolers) where square-frame 120 mm fans would not fit. The fan features a Sterrox® liquid-crystal polymer impeller, a metal-reinforced motor hub, SSO2 bearing and support for full automatic PWM speed control.

How to use

Mount the fan using standard 120 mm screws or compatible mounting hardware, ensuring the round frame fits the intended recess or cutout. Connect the 4-pin PWM connector to a motherboard fan header or PWM controller to enable automatic speed control. Use the supplied extension or Y-cable when routing or controlling multiple fans. If lower maximum speed and noise are desired, attach the supplied Low-Noise Adaptor to reduce top speed to 1700 RPM.

Recommendations

Install the NF-A12x25r with the airflow direction aligned to your cooling path and avoid obstructing the intake/outlet areas. For optimal acoustic performance on heatsinks or radiators, use PWM control and consider the Low-Noise Adaptor to limit peak RPM.
