How to use

Connect the Mini DisplayPort plug to the Mini DisplayPort output of your laptop, mini-PC or workstation. Plug an HDMI cable from the adapter’s HDMI-A female port to the HDMI input of the display, TV or projector. Power on both source and display; the adapter performs active conversion automatically and should be recognized by the operating system without installing drivers. If the display does not show the expected resolution, check display settings and select the output resolution and refresh rate to 3840 × 2160 at 60 Hz where supported.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use a high-quality HDMI cable rated for HDMI 2.0 or higher and set the source to output 4K at 60 Hz with appropriate color format.
