Cable DeLOCK 0.16m DisplayPort/VGA + HDMI + DVI

This mini DisplayPort adapter by Delock allows a system with a Mini DisplayPort (mDP) output to provide one video output in either VGA, HDMI or DVI format. The compact 0.16 m cable combines a 20‑pin Mini DisplayPort male connector with three female outputs (VGA 15‑pin, HDMI‑A 19‑pin and DVI‑D single link 24+1) and is intended to connect devices such as TVs, projectors and monitors. Only one of the three outputs can be active at a time.

How to use

Connect the Mini DisplayPort male plug to the source device’s Mini DisplayPort/DisplayPort output that supports DP++. Then plug the desired display cable into the matching female output on the adapter (VGA, HDMI or DVI‑D). Only one display output may be used at a time; switch the connected display to the active port if required by disconnecting and reconnecting to a different output. No drivers are needed; the operating system should detect the attached display automatically.

Recommendations

Use this passive adapter only with graphics outputs that explicitly support DP++ (dual‑mode DisplayPort). For resolutions above 1920 x 1200 or for active multi‑monitor setups, consider an active adapter or a different solution that supports higher bandwidths or multiple simultaneous outputs.
