The MicroConnect SFTP702R is a 2 m red networking cable built to Cat7 standard with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It provides a reliable wired connection between network devices such as switches, modems, routers or to structured infrastructure via patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. The cable is commonly used in small office, home networks and entertainment setups and is backwards compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5.

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device (router, switch, modem, PC or media player) and the other connector into the destination port such as another device, patch panel or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place and avoid bending the cable sharply near the ends. Route the cable to prevent strain or kinks and secure with cable ties or clips where necessary.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or other sources of strong electromagnetic interference; use twisted paths or separate conduits where practical.
