Built for hardened environments, it provides IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack management, L2/L4 switching features and a total PoE power budget of up to 320 W in an IP30 metal housing rated to operate from -40 to 75 °C. The switch supports 802.3at PoE+ and includes extended-distance mode to supply up to 20 W at distances up to 250 m over UTP, plus SFP-based uplink options for long-distance connections.

How to use

Mount the switch on a DIN rail or appropriate surface and connect power and uplink cables according to site design. Use the web-based interface, CLI or SNMP management system to configure IPv4/IPv6 addressing, VLANs, QoS, PoE schedules and security policies. For PoE devices, enable PD alive check and scheduled power recycling where needed; configure PoE schedule to disable ports outside business hours. Use the SFP slots with compatible fiber transceivers for long-distance uplinks and monitor SFP-DDM parameters from the management interface.

Recommendations

Place the switch in a ventilated but dust-protected location within its -40 to 75 °C range, ensure proper grounding for surge protection, and keep firmware updated.
