How to use

Place the switch on a flat, stable surface with adequate ventilation. Connect the included power adapter to the DC-in jack and to a 100–240 V AC outlet. Use standard Cat5e or higher Ethernet cables to connect devices to the eight RJ-45 Gigabit ports. Configure VLANs, IGMP snooping and DHCP snooping via the switch’s management interface according to network requirements. For multicast environments enable IGMP snooping and verify multicast MAC table entries as needed.

Recommendations

For reliable operation keep ambient temperature within 0–40 °C and relative humidity between 10–90%. Use Cat5e or Cat6 cables for Gigabit performance, and plan VLAN and multicast settings before deployment to ensure proper segmentation and traffic handling.
