How to use

Insert a 7–9.5 mm 2.5" SATA or SAS drive into the EZ Slide Micro tray, close the tray latch to engage the eagle-hook lock and slide the tray into the slim ODD or modified FDD bay until it seats. For use in an FDD bay, remove the metal ODD bracket by unscrewing three screws before installation. Connect the system's SATA cable to the mobile rack; the 7-pin SATA connector includes locking latches to prevent accidental disconnection. The tray supports hot-swap replacement of drives for maintenance or upgrades.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use drives within the specified 7–9.5 mm height range and ensure the key lock is engaged when physical security is required. In systems exposed to industrial environments, take advantage of the all-metal construction and APT feature to reduce power usage when drives are not installed.
