InLine Fan Vibration Decoupling InLine 36212I

The InLine Fan Vibration Decoupling InLine 36212I is a small grey rubber plate designed for 120 mm fans. It is mounted between the fan and the case to reduce the transmission of vibration and operational noise from the fan into the chassis, helping to maintain quieter system operation and stable fan installation.

Advantages

The rubber decoupler is made from durable material and fits 120 mm fans. By isolating fan vibrations from the case it reduces audible noise and potential rattling, contributing to more stable and long-lasting fan mounting without altering fan performance.

How to use

Place the rubber decoupling plate between the fan mounting surface and the case, aligning the mounting holes with the fan screws. Secure the fan through the decoupler into the chassis using appropriate screws, ensuring the decoupler sits flat to provide effective vibration isolation. Check that the fan is firmly mounted but not over-tightened to preserve the rubber's isolation properties.

Recommendations

For best results use with standard 120 mm fan mounting screws and inspect the decoupler periodically for wear; replace if the rubber shows signs of cracking or deformation.
