The InLine® Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable is the perfect choice for network infrastructures that require high performance at an economical price. Thanks to a high-quality CCA alloy of copper-clad aluminum conductors with 40% copper content, it offers improved conductivity compared to conventional CCA cables. This reduces electrical resistance and enables stable transmission at up to 10 Gbit/s over distances of up to 10 meters.
Another advantage: the cable is 4PPOE-capable and supports PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ with up to 90 watts of power. This means that IP cameras, VoIP telephones and access points can be efficiently supplied with power via the network cable - a cost-effective solution for professional applications.The double shielding (S/FTP) minimizes interference and ensures a stable connection even in demanding environments such as data centers, industrial halls or office buildings. The halogen-free TPE jacket (LSZH) is not only flame-retardant, but also particularly flexible – ideal for installations with limited space.
Please note:Due to the material properties of CCA, this cable is limited to lengths of up to 10 meters. For longer distances, we recommend our copper patch cables, which guarantee consistent signal quality.

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding ports on your network devices (switch, router, PC or patch panel) until the latch clicks into place. Use the 1.5 m length for short patch runs and rack-side connections. Ensure both ends are fully seated and avoid sharp bends or crushing the cable to preserve shielding and performance. For permanent installations, route the cable following standard cable management practices and maintain bend radii recommended for Cat6a cabling.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the S/FTP cable parallel to power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use proper strain relief at connector ends and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show physical damage. Verify compatibility with connected equipment when using PoE or 4PPOE to ensure power and thermal specifications are met.
