How to use

Install the IPOE-260 in a suitable enclosure or mount it on DIN-rail or wall bracket. Connect a compatible 12–54 V DC power source (for IPOE-260-12V) to the unit, then connect the Ethernet uplink and the RJ-45 cable to the PoE-enabled port toward the powered device. Use Cat5/5e/6 cabling to carry both data and power up to 100 m to the PoE PD or to a PoE splitter. Ensure the connected devices support IEEE 802.3at or IEEE 802.3af as required.

Recommendations

Use shielded or properly rated industrial Ethernet cabling where electromagnetic interference or harsh conditions are present, and verify power budget when multiple powered devices are attached to ensure each device receives sufficient PoE+ power.
