Indoor Video Intercom System 2N Indoor Compact

The 2N® Indoor Compact is an indoor answering unit designed for residential use. It features a minimalist design with a tempered glass surface, a 4.3" colour display and intuitive controls. Installation requires a single UTP cable and power over Ethernet (PoE), while configuration is done via a web interface or remotely through the 2N® Remote Configuration service.

Large, colour backlit buttons enable simple operation for accepting calls, opening doors, viewing missed calls and switching to silent mode. The tempered 3 mm glass surface is chemically strengthened for scratch and impact resistance. HD-quality G.722 audio combined with a dedicated speaker output and ambient noise suppression improves speech clarity. The installation box allows slight rotation for correct alignment during flush mounting, and the unit can switch video between the intercom camera and an external IP camera. Date and time can be displayed on the screen in sleep mode.

How to use

Connect the 2N® Indoor Compact to the local network using a single UTP cable with PoE to provide power and communication. Access the device settings via the built-in web interface or the 2N® Remote Configuration service to create a directory, adjust settings and perform firmware updates. Use the large backlit buttons on the front panel to accept calls, open doors or switch to silent mode. During a call, switch the video feed from the internal intercom camera to an external IP camera if required.

Recommendations

Install the flush mounting box level in the wall and use the adjustable rotation feature to align the unit precisely. Ensure PoE is available on the network port used and register the unit in the web interface to enable remote configuration and firmware updates.
