The Sonoff THR316 is a 16 A relay that will find its use in indoor swimming pools, wineries or terrariums. It will also work well for home heating, irrigation systems or greenhouses. The product works with temperature and humidity sensors. You can also create schedules from the app and use Auto mode.

Compatible

Sonoff relay supports devices with high power consumption, for example, underfloor heating. In addition, the RJ9 4P4C connector allows you to connect the product to other equipment. Depending on the sensor connected, you can control temperature, using the hermetic DS18B20 sensor, humidity (SI7021) or soil moisture, which the MS01 sensor allows. The product also works with Home Assistant and IFTTT, for greater freedom of use.

Remote control

The product allows you to remotely manage your devices via the eWeLink app. From it, you can turn the device on/off no matter where you are. In addition, it is possible to set a timer or schedule, and the 8 available programs will allow you to customize the THR316's operation and save money on your electricity bill. The Sonoff smart switch monitors temperature and humidity in real time. How to use

Mount the Sonoff THR316 in a representative indoor location away from direct sunlight, heating vents, or drafts for accurate ambient readings. Connect the sensor wiring to the compatible input terminals of your control unit or monitoring device following the electrical and safety guidelines of the host system. After connection, allow a stabilization period so the readings reflect the room conditions. Verify that the monitoring system recognizes the sensor and displays temperature and humidity values correctly.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term measurements, install the sensor at a typical breathing zone height (about 1–1.5 m above the floor) and avoid mounting near windows, doors, or heating elements. Periodically check wiring connections and keep the sensing area free from dust and obstructions. Use the sensor as part of a properly configured monitoring or automation setup to ensure accurate logging and responsive control of indoor climate.
