The Einhell Professional cordless drywall sander TP-DWS 18/225 Li BL Solo is a battery-powered sanding tool from the Power X-Change system, driven by an 18 V Einhell PurePOWER brushless motor. It is designed for sanding drywall, filler and wallpaper residues and offers adjustable rotation speed for different materials. The tool is lightweight (approx. 2.36–2.4 kg) and ergonomically shaped with a main handle and an adjustable auxiliary handle with softgrip. Integrated dust extraction connects via a Ø 35 mm adapter to the supplied dust collection bag and a 4.5 m hose. Six sanding discs (Ø 225 mm) in three grits (2x P60, 2x P80, 2x P120) and mesh liners are included. Battery and charger are not included and must be purchased separately.

How to use

Attach a charged Power X-Change battery (sold separately) to the tool. Fit the required sanding disc onto the 225 mm sanding pad using the hook-and-loop fastening. Select the speed using the continuously variable speed control according to material and grit. For ceiling work or vertical surfaces, use the auxiliary handle for better control. Connect the dust extraction hose to the Ø 35 mm adapter and secure the dust collection bag before starting. Press the switch and engage the lock button for continuous operation; release the lock to stop the tool.

Recommendations

Use progressively finer grits (start with P60 or P80 and finish with P120) to achieve a smooth surface. Wear appropriate respiratory and eye protection when sanding and ensure the dust collection bag is emptied regularly to maintain suction performance.
