The Einhell TE-BF 18 Li-Solo cordless bandfile is a compact, battery-powered tool for grinding and deburring in narrow and hard-to-reach areas. Part of the Power X-Change family, it works with any compatible 18 V battery and charger from the system. How to use

Select and fit the appropriate grinding arm (9 mm for narrow detail work, 13 mm for larger surfaces). Insert a sanding belt and secure it using the lever-operated, tool-free mechanism. Adjust belt tracking via the screw on the grinding arm if required. Connect a suitable Power X-Change battery, switch on the tool and set the sanding speed using the speed regulator to match the material and desired material removal rate. Use the 90° pivot function of the grinding arm to reach awkward positions. For prolonged tasks, use the lock-on button to maintain continuous operation.

Recommendations

Use appropriate grit sanding belts for the task: coarser grits (P60) for rapid material removal, medium grits (P80) for shaping, and finer grits (P120) for finishing. Always secure the workpiece, wear suitable personal protective equipment (eye protection, dust mask and hearing protection), and use a compatible vacuum cleaner connected to the 36 mm adapter to reduce dust.
