Anycubic Kobra 3 Max is a large-format FDM 3D printer offering a build volume of 420 x 420 x 500 mm. It is equipped with a quick-connect hotend, PEI spring-steel build plate and supports common filaments such as PLA, PETG, ABS and TPU. The machine includes dual-motor and reinforced-axis hardware, LeviQ 3.0 auto-leveling, AI filament tangle detection and network connectivity via Wi‑Fi or LAN for remote control through Anycubic Slicer Next and the Anycubic app.

Advantages

The printer provides an extra-large printable area that allows producing single-piece large models without assembly. High maximum speeds up to 600 mm/s combined with acceleration up to 10,000 mm/s² reduce print time, while resonance compensation, dynamic flow and dual-core-shaft axes improve surface quality and dimensional accuracy. A quick-heating hotplate (up to 90°C) and a hotend capable of 300°C expand material options. Built-in safety features include AI-based tangle detection and automatic resume functions, and the device supports remote monitoring and control over Wi‑Fi or LAN.

How to use

Install the printer frame and accessories following the included mounting kits, connect the power cord and assemble the spool holder and filament tube. Load filament into the quick-connect hotend, set the nozzle temperature up to the required value (max 300°C) and heat the bed to the appropriate temperature for the material (up to 90°C). Use LeviQ 3.0 for automatic bed leveling, prepare your model in Anycubic Slicer Next (or another compatible slicer), then transfer the job via Wi‑Fi, LAN or USB. Monitor prints remotely with the Anycubic app or a connected camera; if filament tangle or skip is detected, the printer will pause automatically.

Recommendations

For reliable results, use recommended nozzle sizes and filament types for each material, keep the print area clear of drafts to reduce vibration effects, and ensure firmware and Anycubic Slicer Next are up to date. For large models, verify bed adhesion and consider using raft or brim when printing with ABS or PETG.
