The Flashforge Guider IIs is a powerful, reliable industrial 3D printer designed for small production runs and large-format parts. It supports a wide range of engineering and standard filaments including ABS, ASA, HIPS, PC, PETG and PLA, and offers a build volume of 280 × 250 × 200 mm. The printer features an improved extruder system, broad material compatibility and optional HEPA filtration for safer indoor use.

Advantages

Guider IIs adds functional upgrades over the Guider II to increase accuracy and productivity. Key advantages include an automatic bed leveling system that fine-tunes the nozzle-to-platform distance for improved first-layer adhesion and consistent prints, a resume-printing feature that recovers jobs after a power interruption, and wireless printing via Wi‑Fi using FlashPrint. The open filament system lets you use filaments from multiple manufacturers, and available HEPA (and optional HEPA 13) filtration reduces particulate emissions during printing.

Suitable for

  • Small-batch production of functional prototypes and end-use parts
  • Large single-piece models or multiple parts printed at once
  • Workshops and offices requiring compatibility with engineering plastics (ABS, PC, ASA)
  • Educational or R&D environments needing reliable, repeatable prints

Key specifications

  • Build volume: 280 × 250 × 200 mm
  • Layer thickness: 0.1–0.4 mm
  • Supported materials: ABS, ASA, HIPS, PC, PETG, PLA
  • Display: 12.7 cm touchscreen
  • Power consumption: 500 W
  • Dimensions (approx.): 550 × 490 × 570 mm; Weight: 30 kg
  • File formats: 3MF, OBJ, STL
  • Connectivity: Wi‑Fi, USB; wireless printing via FlashPrint and FlashCloud support

How to use

Install the printer on a stable, level surface and connect it to power and network per the user manual. Update the firmware to the latest version (released April 2020 or later) to enable the bed auto-leveling function. Load the chosen filament following the manufacturer's instructions and select material-specific print settings in FlashPrint. For each print, run the auto-leveling procedure so the extruder calibrates the nozzle-to-bed distance before starting. If a power interruption occurs, restart the machine and use the resume-printing option to continue the job.

Recommendations

Use appropriate material settings (temperatures, speeds, cooling) for engineering filaments such as ABS, PC and ASA; enable the HEPA filter when printing in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces; and keep firmware and FlashPrint software up to date to access the latest features and stability improvements.
