The product is part of the EK-Quantum Torque HDC 12 line and is designed with a minimalistic appearance, removable aesthetic rings (sold separately) and a rubber gasket that the locking ring compresses to lock tubes in place. The interior is intentionally uncoated to minimise potential contaminants in the cooling loop.

How to use

Prepare the 12 mm tubing by cutting square and deburring the end to ensure a smooth fit. Screw the aesthetic ring onto the fitting (if used) before fitting the compression ring, then slide the compression ring into place and insert the tube fully onto the barb until it seats against the internal stop. Tighten the locking/compression ring by hand using the external grooves; if additional torque is required, use a 9 mm Allen key in the barb socket to hold the fitting while turning the compression ring, taking care not to over-tighten. Recommendations

Use only 12 mm outer-diameter tubing specified for hard- or soft-tube water-cooling. Install the aesthetic ring prior to the compression ring if you plan to use colored rings.
