Draka U-DQ(ZN)BH 24G50/125 I/O CT D DA LSHF 3.0kN Blue OM4 Universal Fibre Optic Cable

Universal fibre optic cable engineered for high-speed data transmission in demanding indoor/outdoor environments. Its 24 OM4 multimode fibres, each with a 50/125 µm core/cladding diameter, support 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 550 metres and 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet up to 150 metres, making it ideal for backbone and data centre applications. The cable features a robust LSHF (Low Smoke Halogen Free) outer sheath in blue, ensuring safety in fire-sensitive areas by emitting low smoke and no corrosive gases. With a tensile strength of 3.0 kN, it withstands installation stresses while maintaining signal integrity. The U-DQ(ZN)BH construction includes a central strength member, gel-free loose tubes, and aramid yarns for enhanced durability and rodent protection. It is suitable for direct burial, duct, and aerial installations, offering versatility across various network architectures.

Advantages

The cable's OM4 fibre supports high bandwidth and longer distances for high-speed protocols, reducing the need for frequent upgrades. The LSHF sheath ensures compliance with strict fire safety regulations, protecting people and equipment. Its robust design resists moisture, UV radiation, and mechanical stress, ensuring long-term reliability in harsh conditions. The 3.0 kN tensile strength allows for longer pulling distances during installation, saving time and labour. The universal design simplifies inventory by serving multiple installation scenarios.
