Cable splitter TechniSat 9P2 Silver 950-2150 MHz

The TechniSat 9P2 Silver 950-2150 MHz cable splitter distributes incoming cable or satellite signals across multiple outputs while preserving signal integrity within the 950–2150 MHz frequency band. Its compact silver housing measures approximately 210 mm wide, 60 mm deep and 45 mm high, and the unit weighs about 0.266 kg. Designed for installation in residential and small commercial environments, the device supports signal distribution for receivers and set-top boxes requiring the specified frequency range.

Advantages

The splitter offers a stable splitting solution for cable and satellite systems operating between 950 and 2150 MHz. Its metal housing and compact footprint facilitate mounting in confined equipment cabinets or behind media furniture. The silver finish provides a neutral appearance that integrates unobtrusively into most installation locations. Low insertion loss and impedance-matched design help maintain signal quality across outputs.

Suitable for

• Home satellite or cable TV installations requiring multi-output distribution
• Small office or commercial AV setups where compact signal splitters are needed
• Set-top boxes, satellite receivers and tuners operating in the 950–2150 MHz range
• Environments where a discreet, silver-coloured device is preferred

Key specifications

• Frequency range: 950–2150 MHz
• Housing colour: Silver
• Dimensions (approx.): 210 mm (W) × 60 mm (D) × 45 mm (H)
• Weight (approx.): 0.266 kg
• Mounting: compact form factor suitable for cabinet or wall mounting (mounting method depends on installation)

How to use

Connect the incoming coaxial cable carrying the satellite or cable signal to the splitter input. Attach receiver or tuner coaxial cables to the splitter outputs, ensuring all connectors are tightened to maintain reliable contact and reduce signal reflections. Position the splitter in a dry, ventilated location away from strong electromagnetic interference and secure it according to the installation environment. Verify signal presence at each connected receiver and, if necessary, adjust cabling or connectors to optimize signal levels.

Recommendations

Use high-quality coaxial cables and properly shielded connectors to minimize signal loss. Avoid routing the splitter close to large power supplies or other sources of interference. If signal levels are insufficient after splitting, consider using an active distribution amplifier rather than additional passive splitters.
