Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Problem with an order right now? Write to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] — answered the same business day. The letter also lists our group and store owners' contacts.

BenQ BL2790 provides effortless display transitions and multiple connectivity options so you can stay linked to your devices and switch between input sources with a single click. The 100Hz refresh rate delivers smooth motion for webpage reading and video streaming, while a range of color modes—such as Coding Mode and ePaper Mode—are optimized for different tasks. Built-in Brightness Intelligence, Low Blue Light Plus, and Flicker-Free technologies work together to reduce eye strain and keep images clear. The monitor also includes Color Weakness Mode and holds TÜV Rheinland and Eyesafe 2.0 certifications, plus energy and environmental certifications including Energy Star, EPEAT, and TCO.

Advantages

Multiple ports and conveniently placed buttons allow quick switching between input sources and connected devices. A 100Hz refresh rate ensures clearer, smoother motion. Brightness Intelligence (B.I. Gen2) and Brightness Intelligence Technology automatically adapt screen brightness and balance bright and dark content for comfortable viewing. Low Blue Light Plus and Flicker-Free technologies protect eyes while preserving vivid colors. Special modes like Coding Mode and ePaper Mode improve readability for coding and long reading sessions. Color Weakness Mode assists users with red-green color deficiency. The monitor has third-party safety and environmental certifications for reliable eye protection and eco-friendly operation.

“This review first appeared in issue 357 of PC Pro. There's a lot to like about this 27in, 1440p monitor. Especially for owners of Apple laptops, as BenQ goes out of its way to color-match its output with MacBook screens via the M-book mode.”
