How to use

Power down the system, disconnect power and peripherals, and ground yourself before beginning installation. Remove the existing AM5 backplate according to the motherboard and cooler instructions. Position the Thermal Grizzly aluminium backplate on the rear of the motherboard aligning the AM5 socket cutouts and secure it using the cooler’s M4 screws and spacers as required by the cooler manufacturer. Refit the cooler on the CPU, ensuring even contact and correct torque on mounting screws to achieve uniform pressure. Reconnect the system and verify cooler seating and fan/pump operation after powering on.

Recommendations

Use the backplate only with coolers that specify M4 mounting hardware and follow the cooler manufacturer’s installation guide.
