The ATEN PE8108G is a 1U rack-mount monitored power distribution unit designed for data center and server rack environments. How to use

Mount the unit in a standard 19" rack using the supplied rack mount kit and connect the PE8108G to mains power via the C20 inlet. Connect the device to your network through the 10/100 Ethernet port, then access the browser-based user interface to configure IP settings, create user accounts and assign outlet-level access. Use the web UI or supported protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP) to turn individual outlets on/off, perform power cycles, set power-on sequences and monitor current and energy usage. For multi-device management, install the eco Sensors Power Management software to discover and manage PE devices on the same intranet.

Recommendations

Deploy the PE8108G in a properly ventilated rack and ensure connected equipment does not exceed the 10 A maximum current.
