The ATEN PE6108G is a 1U rack-mount monitored Power Distribution Unit (PDU) with 8 C13 AC outlets and a C20 input plug. Designed for space-efficient rack installation, it supports 100–240 V input and a maximum current of 10 A. The unit provides front-panel LED indication for current and IP address, LAN/Link/Power/Status indicators, remote current monitoring and separate power for the unit electronics and its outlets so the interface remains available if an outlet circuit breaker trips.

How to use

Mount the PE6108G in a standard 1U rack space using the supplied rack-mount kit and connect mains power via the C20 input. Attach equipment to the eight C13 outlets. Connect the device to your network using a Cat5/6 cable to the 10/100 Ethernet port and configure network settings via the browser-based interface. Use the web UI or supported management software (eco Sensors) to monitor real-time power metrics, assign outlet names and user permissions, set power-on sequences and thresholds, and perform remote outlet control.

Recommendations

Ensure the total connected load does not exceed the rated 10 A input. Configure power-on sequencing for devices that require staggered startup and enable thresholds and alerts to detect overload or abnormal power conditions.
