How to use

Install the AP7821B in the rack using the appropriate horizontal or vertical mounting method. Connect the unit to a compatible 200–230 V, 20 A branch power source using the supplied branch whip or specified input. Plug rack equipment into the 8 C13 outlets and configure alarm thresholds on the local display or via network management if the unit is network-capable. Monitor the local digital readout for current, power and voltage values and observe load indicator LEDs for overload or warning conditions.

Recommendations

Define alarm thresholds before placing critical loads on the PDU and regularly check the local display and LEDs to avoid overloaded circuits. If remote monitoring or firmware updates are required, ensure network connectivity and follow the manufacturer's instructions for flash upgrades and SNMP/Web/Telnet configuration.
