Before you believe a bad review about us

We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.
  • We are part of the ITwork group — ten years trading in Europe, nine stores, thousands of positive reviews.
  • Johannesburg and Cape Town stores open this year — real shelves, real stock, walk in and buy the same day.

We are not satisfied with our review scores, and we are not going to fix them by hiding anything. We are fixing them by being faster, clearer and easier to reach than any reason to complain.

Read the full letter — photos and video of real shipments, and a straight answer to every accusation.

Problem with an order right now? Write to [email protected], [email protected] or [email protected] — answered the same business day. The letter also lists our group and store owners' contacts.

Low Latency & Less Interference
The newly available 6 GHz frequency band is dedicated purely to WiFi 6E devices. This means that older WiFi devices can’t interfere with 6E signals at all, enabling faster and more reliable connections for your 6E devices.

One-Tap Safe Browsing
In just a single tap, ASUS Safe Browsing helps you block malicious content, annoying ads, or explicit content to protect your family.pause
The internet can contain inappropriate content, intrusive ads or other dangers and safety risks. ASUS Safe Browsing helps block undesirable content in one tap -- no extra apps required. Its lightweight DNS-based filtering* won’t affect router performance. It can even filter explicit content from search engine results to protect your kids online.

*By using Safe Browsing, you acknowledge and agree that the standard for blocked and filtered content is established by a third-party DNS provider.

Complete Security for Your Home Network
Alongside the latest WPA3 security protocol, the ASUS RT-AXE7800 also features AiProtection Pro powered by Trend Micro™, with automatic, regularly updated security signatures to protect your devices and personal data from internet threats.

Multi-Gigabit Wired Connection
Equipped with a 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port, the ASUS RT-AXE7800 also features both WAN and LAN aggregation*, providing you with more options when assembling your network**. This flexibility lets you deliver massive bandwidth to your wired devices and takes advantage of ultra-high-speed internet connections in many scenarios***.

*To use the Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) function, devices must support the IEEE 802.3ad protocol. WAN and LAN aggregation also leverage the same 1G WAN/LAN port and cannot be enabled at the same time.
**The 2.5G port does not support WAN aggregation. Please set the 1G WAN/LAN1 port as WAN to enable WAN aggregation. For more details, please visit the ASUS support site (https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1048826).
***Internet speeds are dependent on your ISP.

Network Control in Your Way
Easily setup and manage your RT-AXE7800 router with the intuitive ASUS Router app interface. You can also access the Web GUI to explore advanced settings and unlock more router features.

Simple but Complete Functions
The easy-to-use ASUS Router mobile app offers simple setup and management for your RT-AXE7800 router. There’s even more for you to explore with upgraded features including complete VPN settings, new parental control time scheduling, visualized connection diagnostics, and more.

How to use

Set up the RT-AXE7800 using the ASUS Router mobile app for guided configuration or sign in to the Web GUI to access advanced settings. Connect your ISP line to the designated WAN port, and attach wired devices to LAN ports or the 2.5 Gbps port as needed. Enable Safe Browsing from the app to apply DNS-based content filtering, and activate AiProtection Pro and WPA3 for continuous device and data protection. Configure WAN/LAN aggregation according to the device support and ASUS instructions if additional wired throughput is required.

Recommendations

For WAN aggregation and Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) features, ensure connected devices support IEEE 802.3ad; note that the 2.5G port does not support WAN aggregation and WAN and LAN aggregation cannot be used simultaneously. Internet speeds depend on your ISP.

“Routers that use the latest Wi-Fi 6E technology are still pretty expensive - as we saw with Asus' top-of-the-range Rapture RT-AXE11000 just recently. However, the Rapture routers are aimed at hard-core gamers who need super-fast response times, so the…”
