The KVM Extender Set Digitus 4K HDBaseT HDMI 70 m Wired extends HDMI video signals over a single network cable, allowing transmission up to 70 m for Full HD (1080p/60Hz) and up to 40 m for UHD (4K/30Hz). The set includes KVM functionality (USB 1.1) to connect a keyboard and mouse at the receiver end, supports bi-directional IR control and HDCP 2.2/1.4, and uses Power over Cable (PoC) so only one unit requires an external power adapter.

How to use

Connect the transmitter to the HDMI source (PC, media player) and the receiver to the remote display using standard HDMI cables. Link the transmitter and receiver with a compatible network cable (Cat5e–Cat8) of appropriate length. If needed, connect a USB keyboard and mouse to the receiver to enable KVM control. Apply power to the designated unit; with PoC the opposite unit will receive power via the network cable.

Recommendations

For best results, use high-quality Cat6A or better cable for longer distances and to maintain stable 1080p or 4K signals. Verify cable terminations and avoid running the data cable alongside high-voltage power lines to reduce interference.
