Televes DATVUTFORCE2 Outdoor DVB-T/T2 TV Antenna, Mono

The Televes DATVUTFORCE2 outdoor mono antenna is designed to improve terrestrial television reception for outdoor installations. Constructed in aluminium with a grey and orange finish, the antenna accepts a DC input voltage between 12 and 24 V and is supplied as a single unit per pack. Its compact construction and weather-resistant materials make it suitable for mounting on roofs, masts or exterior walls where stable digital TV signal capture is required.

Advantages

The aluminium construction provides a balance of low weight and corrosion resistance for prolonged outdoor use. Compatibility with a wide DC input range (12–24 V) allows integration with common power sources used in residential and light commercial setups. A mono design simplifies tuning and installation for single-feed applications while the coated finish offers additional protection against environmental exposure.

Suitable for

• Outdoor roof or mast installation for terrestrial digital TV reception
• Replacement or upgrade of existing mono outdoor antennas
• Small residential or holiday homes requiring a compact external antenna

Key specifications

• Construction material: aluminium
• Power supply: DC input 12–24 V
• Colour: grey and orange finish
• Intended use: outdoor mono television reception
• Pack contents: one antenna unit

How to use

Mount the antenna on a suitable outdoor support such as a roof mast or wall bracket, ensuring a clear line of sight to broadcast transmitters where possible. Connect the DC power supply within the 12–24 V range to the antenna following the manufacturer’s polarity and connector type. Route the coaxial cable from the antenna to the indoor receiver or distribution amplifier, secure all connections, and perform a channel scan on your television or tuner to confirm reception. Adjust the antenna orientation gradually to optimize signal strength and quality.

Recommendations

Install at an elevated position and use corrosion-resistant mounting hardware. Avoid obstructions such as large buildings or dense trees between the antenna and signal source. When connecting to a multi-room distribution system, use a suitable amplifier or splitter rated for outdoor antenna use to preserve signal levels.
