Recommendations

For PoE applications, ACT advises limiting bundle size to a maximum of 24 cables to prevent excessive temperature rise. Because the slimline cable uses 32 AWG conductors, it exhibits higher attenuation at higher frequencies than standard 24 AWG cords; ACT therefore recommends using shorter permanent link lengths when planning links that include these patch cords to ensure compliance with ISO/IEC and TIA performance requirements.
