How to use

Insert the RJ45 connector into the network ports of the devices to be connected, ensuring a secure click. Route the slimline cable through cabinet channels or trays, taking advantage of the smaller bending radius for tight paths. For best performance, keep link length to 3 m as specified and avoid sharp bends or kinks that could damage the conductors or increase attenuation.

Recommendations

Although 28 AWG patch cords can be used, they cause higher attenuation at higher frequencies; ACT recommends shorter permanent link lengths compared with 24 AWG cords and advises limiting PoE bundle sizes to a maximum of 24 cables to restrict temperature rise to within standard guidance (ANSI TSB-184-A).
