How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the network equipment port and the other end to the patch panel or device port. Route the slimline cable through cable management trays or vertical organizers, observing the reduced bending radius compared with thicker patch cords. For best performance, avoid excessive kinks and tight bends and ensure connectors are fully seated in RJ45 ports.

Recommendations

ACT advises limiting PoE bundled installations to a maximum of 24 cables to prevent excessive temperature rise in power-over-Ethernet deployments. Note that very slim conductor gauges can increase attenuation at higher frequencies; keep patch lengths short and follow ANSI TSB-184-A guidance limiting temperature rise to under 15 °C above ambient for the center cable in a bundle.
