The cooler includes an Addressable RGB top cover for customizable lighting via a 4-pin ARGB header and ships with Zalman’s ZM-STC8 thermal compound for improved contact between the cooler base and the CPU.

How to use

Install the Zalman CNPS13X BLACK on a compatible CPU socket following the motherboard and cooler mounting instructions. Apply the included ZM-STC8 thermal compound to the CPU heatspreader in a thin, even layer before seating the cooler base. Connect the fan to the CPU_FAN or SYS_FAN header with PWM control for automatic speed adjustment. Attach the 4-pin ARGB connector to an addressable RGB header to enable lighting control and synchronization.

Recommendations

For best results, ensure case airflow is adequate (intake and exhaust) and reapply thermal compound after several years or if the cooler is removed. Verify clearance for RAM and other components given the cooler’s height of 159 mm.
