Cooler Zalman CNPS10X Performa

The Cooler Zalman CNPS10X Performa is a 120 mm CPU cooler designed for efficient heat dissipation and compatibility with a wide range of desktop sockets. It uses five heatpipes and optimally designed aluminum fins to transfer heat away from the CPU, and includes a PWM fan with a rotational speed range of 900–2000 RPM. The cooler supports single- or dual-fan configurations and is compatible with cases at least 180 mm wide thanks to its 152 mm height. Supplied thermal grease (ZM-STG2M) improves thermal contact between the CPU and the cooler base.

How to use

Mount the heatsink onto the CPU socket following the manufacturer’s mounting instructions for the specific socket type. Apply a thin, even layer of the supplied ZM-STG2M thermal grease to the CPU heatspreader before seating the cooler base. Choose single- or dual-fan configuration and connect the PWM fan to a motherboard PWM header. If desired, connect the PWM fan through the RC24P resistor cable to reduce input voltage and lower fan speed and noise.

Recommendations

Ensure case clearance of at least 180 mm and verify socket compatibility before installation. Clean old thermal compound from the CPU before applying the supplied ZM-STG2M. For lower noise prioritize lower PWM duty or use the resistor cable; for maximum cooling use dual-fan setup and full PWM control.
