How to use

Mount the detector on a ceiling away from corners, vents and direct sunlight following the included mounting template. Insert the battery and verify the power and self-test function by pressing the test button until the alarm sounds. Place detectors on every level of the building and outside sleeping areas for optimal coverage. Replace batteries promptly when the low-battery alert sounds and test the detector regularly to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

Install the detector on the ceiling at least 30 cm from walls, avoid placing it near cooking appliances to reduce false alarms, and perform monthly tests.
