How to use

Mount the detector on a ceiling or wall using the supplied mounting kit, following local installation height recommendations. Press the test/silence button to check operation or temporarily mute the alarm; sleep mode mutes the unit for 9 minutes and then it returns to normal battery operation. Do not paint the device or block the sensor openings. Replace the detector when the end-of-life signal indicates battery depletion.

Recommendations

Install one detector in each sleeping area and on every storey of the dwelling. Test the detector regularly using the test button and clean dust from the housing occasionally to maintain reliable detection.
