How to use

Plug the RE220BE into a power outlet within range of your existing router and follow the quick setup procedure using the TP-Link Tether app on Android or iOS, or use the web interface. Connect the extender to your router either wirelessly or via Ethernet, then place the extender where it provides strong signal to the previously weak area. For wired devices, connect to the gigabit Ethernet port.

Recommendations

Place the extender roughly halfway between your router and the dead zone for best coverage; avoid placing it near large metal objects or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use the Tether app to check signal strength and enable EasyMesh on compatible devices to create a seamless network.
