How to use

Place the repeater on a table or shelf between the router and the area where you need better coverage; use the multicolor LED and the FRITZ!App WLAN to find the optimal location. For automatic connection, press the WPS button on your WPS‑capable router and the repeater to register it quickly. Alternatively, access the repeater’s interface by entering fritz.repeater in a browser to follow the setup wizards and configure wireless and LAN settings manually. To provide wired network access to devices without Wi‑Fi, connect them to the available RJ‑45 ports. Use the device’s settings to enable Mesh functions and to update the system via FRITZ!OS when updates are available.

Recommendations

Position the FRITZ!Repeater 6000 roughly halfway between the router and the coverage gap for best signal relay. If you have existing LAN cabling or powerline adapters, consider using LAN bridge mode to improve stability over longer distances. Keep firmware updated and use WPA3 where supported for stronger network security. Reduce interference by choosing appropriate channels with the help of the FRITZ!App WLAN and the repeater’s LED indicators.
