How to use

Install the IAP500BE on a DIN-rail, wall or inside a cabinet and connect the Ethernet port to a PoE-enabled switch or injector to power the device. Optionally attach the magnetic external antenna where additional coverage is needed. Use the Nebula mobile app or Nebula web portal to run the step-by-step setup wizard, configure SSIDs, security settings (WPA2/WPA3 recommended) and mesh parameters. For on-premises management, switch the device to controller mode via NebulaFlex Pro; for cloud management, claim the device to your Nebula site to enable remote monitoring and centralized policies.

Recommendations

Place the access point inside or near cabinets with antenna access for best coverage, enable Multi-Link Operation (MLO) for latency-sensitive applications, and use PoE-compliant switches to ensure reliable power delivery. Regularly update firmware through Nebula to maintain security and performance.
