The block features a CNC-machined solid brass reversible insert, an enlarged fin array with 50% more surface area in a compact footprint, and 0.40 mm microchannels with 0.26 mm microfins to maximize thermal transfer while keeping flow restriction low. The block includes an interchangeable white POM inner frame that disperses light from 30 individually addressable D-RGB LEDs (3-pin 5V digital connector), and the aesthetic frame can be swapped for color-anodized aluminum or nickel-plated brass variants sold separately.

How to use

Mount the EK-Quantum Magnitude 1700 following the supplied mounting hardware and the motherboard manufacturer’s instructions for LGA 1700 sockets. Install the block onto the CPU with the correct orientation for the desired inlet/outlet routing; rotate the brass insert 180° to reverse inlet and outlet if needed. Connect tubing to the inlet and outlet ports using compatible fittings, and attach the 3-pin 5V D-RGB cable to a compatible header or controller. Fill and bleed the loop according to your coolant and pump manufacturer's guidelines, then verify leak-free operation and proper flow before powering the system long-term.

Recommendations

Use corrosion-inhibited coolant compatible with copper and brass components; avoid distilled water without additives. Ensure tubing and fittings match the port diameter and that the loop is bled thoroughly to prevent air pockets.
