Water block Alphacool Eisblock XPX Aurora

The Alphacool Eisblock XPX Aurora CPU water block combines a compact transparent-nylon and perspex construction with addressable digital RGB illumination and a patented internal ramp flow design to deliver efficient heat transfer for modern multi-core processors. The block measures approximately 75.8 mm in width and depth and 33 mm in height, and comes in a black and transparent finish.

Advantages

The patented ramp system ensures an even flow of coolant across the diffuser plate, pushing liquid uniformly over the enlarged cooling base to improve heat transfer. The base features enlarged cooling channels and 81 ultra-thin fins (0.2 mm thickness) to maximise surface area in a compact volume. Integrated addressable RGB LEDs (up to 15 LEDs) surround the block to provide uniform lighting and support standard 3-pin 5V mainboard control, with an included cable and integrated Y-adapter for daisy-chaining compatible Aurora products.

How to use

Install the backplate on the motherboard from the rear, select and fit the appropriate mounting frame for the processor socket onto the cooler (mounting screws are pre-attached to the frame), apply thermal paste to the CPU heatspreader, then secure the water block using the supplied screws. Connect the addressable RGB cable to a compatible 3-pin 5V header or to a separate controller; use the integrated Y-adapter to connect additional Aurora devices as needed. Extension cables may be required depending on case layout.
