Water block Alphacool 12949

The Alphacool 12949 Eisblock XPX Aurora Edge water block is a compact CPU cooling solution in grey and black, made of acrylic and copper. It uses Alphacool's patented ramp flow system and an enlarged coolant channel area to improve heat transfer from modern multi-core CPUs. The block integrates addressable digital RGB LEDs around the cooling housing for adjustable illumination and includes a Y-adapter on the cable for easy daisy-chaining of other Alphacool Aurora products.

How to use

Attach the supplied backplate to the rear of the motherboard, clamp the appropriate mounting frame (Intel or AMD) to the cooler, and ensure the pre-attached mounting screws are aligned. Apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste to the CPU heatspreader, position the water block over the socket, and secure it with the provided screws according to the torque guidelines of your motherboard or CPU cooler manual. Connect the aRGB cable to a compatible 3-pin 5V header or controller; use the included Y-adapter to chain additional Aurora devices if required. If routing multiple devices in series in larger cases, consider optional extension cables.
