Waste bin Wesco Ökosammler Beta Red 20 L, model 112747, steel construction, pedal opening

Wesco Ökosammler Beta Red 20 L is a compact steel waste bin designed for everyday household and office use. The steel construction provides structural rigidity and a finish that integrates with modern interiors.

Advantages

The pedal mechanism enables hygienic, contact-free operation and reliable lid closure. Steel construction offers durability and resistance to dents under normal use, while the compact cylindrical form saves floor space. The 20‑liter capacity balances sufficient storage for daily refuse with easy handling when emptying. The design supports the use of standard waste bags and is suitable for indoor environments where neat appearance and practical function are required.

Key specifications

• Capacity: approximately 20 liters
• Material: steel body and lid
• Opening method: pedal-operated lid for hands-free use
• Form factor: compact cylindrical shape with small footprint
• Finish: painted exterior in red

How to use

Place the bin on a level surface in the intended location. To open the lid, press the pedal with your foot and deposit the waste; release the pedal to allow the lid to close automatically. For emptying, remove the inner container or lift the lid and take out the filled bag, depending on the liner configuration. Clean the interior and exterior surfaces periodically with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and dry thoroughly to prevent water spots on the painted steel.

Recommendations

Use appropriately sized waste liners to avoid interference with the pedal mechanism and to make emptying simpler. Avoid placing the bin in prolonged direct sunlight or outdoors to preserve the painted finish and prevent premature corrosion. For hygienic maintenance, periodically wipe the pedal and lid hinge area to remove residue.
