Bread box Wesco Grandy 112762 matte black – metal storage container for bread and baked goods

Wesco Grandy 112762 matte black is a metal storage container designed for storing bread and baked goods on kitchen counters or in pantry areas. Constructed from durable steel with a matte black finish, the bread box helps protect contents from dust and light while maintaining a compact footprint. The wide, gently curved lid provides easy access to loaves, rolls and pastries while supporting tidy countertop organization.

Advantages

The steel construction offers long-term durability and impact resistance compared with lightweight plastics. The matte black surface resists visible fingerprints and integrates with various kitchen styles. The container’s removable lid and internal volume allow for storing multiple types of baked goods, helping to extend freshness by shielding items from direct air exposure and dust. Its compact rectangular shape optimizes counter space while providing a stable base for items placed on top.

Suitable for

• Storing whole loaves, sliced bread and rolls
• Keeping pastries and buns protected from dust
• Use on kitchen countertops, utility shelves or in small café service areas
• Organizing baked goods in a pantry or breakfast station

Key specifications

• Material: durable steel with matte finish
• Finish: matte black
• Design: rectangular container with wide curved lid for easy access
• Capacity: suitable for multiple bread items and small baked goods (typical household volume)
• Intended use: indoor countertop or shelf storage for bread and pastries

How to use

Place clean, cooled bread or baked goods inside the container and close the lid to reduce exposure to dust and direct light. For best results, avoid storing warm or very moist items directly in the box; allow baked goods to cool to room temperature to limit condensation. Periodically remove contents to check freshness and rotate items so older products are used first. When filling or removing items, use the wide lid opening to handle loaves and trays conveniently.

Recommendations

To maintain the matte finish, clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent if needed; avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Wipe the interior occasionally to remove crumbs and allow air circulation by leaving the lid slightly ajar for short periods if storing items that require less airtight conditions. Do not use for long-term storage of highly perishable or refrigerated products.
