The DIGITUS Wall Mounting Cabinet DN-DVR-1 is designed to house and protect a video surveillance system and associated devices. Made of durable steel with a grey finish, the compact cabinet (580 mm × 160 mm × 550 mm) offers a lockable, swiveling front door with a 90° doorstop and multiple cable entries for organized wiring. It includes a 19" mounting bracket inside the door for DVR devices, an adjustable mounting with rubber dampers for non-19" equipment, a 19" 2U holder at the top inside for a PDU/socket strip, and a 12" screen fixation on the inner rear wall. Ventilation slots provide passive cooling to installed components.

How to use

Mount the cabinet securely to a suitable wall surface following local building and safety regulations. Install DVR or other devices on the internal 19" mounting bracket or on the adjustable mounting if the device is not 19" compatible. Attach a PDU/socket strip to the internal 19" 2U holder at the top if power distribution is required. Route cables through the pre-cut side entries and secure them to avoid strain. Fix a 12" monitor to the inner rear wall if needed. Close and lock the front door after installation to prevent unauthorized access.

Recommendations

Place the cabinet in a well-ventilated area and avoid blocking the ventilation slots. Use the rubber-damped adjustable mounting for non-standard DVRs to minimise vibration and contact damage. Ensure cable entries are sealed or grommeted where necessary to maintain neat wiring and to protect cable insulation.
