Wall mounted rack EFB Elektronik 691709FTS.1

The EFB Elektronik 691709FTS.1 is a wall-mounted steel rack designed for orderly installation of network and IT equipment. The cabinet features a screwed frame, removable side wall with a quick fastener and a front door with a 4 mm certified safety glass window and lock. It is supplied unassembled and self-ventilated, with pre-punched openings for cable entry and internal 2 x 19" rails that are adjustable in depth.

Advantages

The housing is made of steel with a durable RAL9005 jet black paint finish and all cabinet parts are earthed for electrical safety. Roof, bottom and rear wall include 230 x 41 mm pre-punched openings for cable routing, and the roof is prepared to mount two single fans (Art.-No. 691664). The front-mounted rails support standard 19" equipment while the cabinet remains compact and suitable for wall installation.

How to use

Unpack the cabinet and assemble according to the supplied instructions. Mount the assembled rack securely to a suitable load-bearing wall using appropriate fixings (not included). Install equipment on the 19" rails and adjust rail depth as required. Route cables through the pre-punched openings in the roof, bottom or rear wall. If additional ventilation is needed, fit up to two single fans on the roof using the prepared mount points.

Recommendations

For safe and reliable installation, ensure wall fixings match the wall material and the mounted equipment does not exceed the 60 kg maximum load. Maintain adequate clearance around the cabinet for airflow and access to the front door; use the roof fan mount if ambient temperatures or equipment density require active ventilation.
